DIDACTIC TRAINING FOR ALL-ON-X RIDGE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE ATROPHIC MAXILLA

PHASE 1 of this course will outline successful recommendations for implementing the All-on-X treatment concept in the contemporary restorative, prosthodontic, and surgical practice, offering immediate full-arch restorations. Incorporating CBCT software into the treatment planning, case presentation, and interdisciplinary communication is paramount for optimal case success. All aspects of the All-on-X treatment concept will be reviewed and presented. Incorporating zygomatic implants into the All-on-X treatment concept for compromised maxillary atrophy will be reviewed and multiple case reports presented. Additionally, management of full-arch cases, management of peri-implantitis and peri-mucositis, revision case management, all with significant emphasis placed on the prosthetic aspect of the case, will be presented. Lecture will consist of an instructional slide presentation, surgical video learning, a LIVE surgical demonstration of a zygoma procedure with conversion, and an intense hands-on portion on interactive models.
